If you are concerned that Taekwondo places a great amount of emphasis on sparring and fighting, you don’t have to worry. Taekwondo places little to no emphasis on violence, but stresses the importance of discipline and respect. Best of all, classes are individualized, so don’t worry if you are not in the same physical condition, you were at age 18. Adults participate at their own fitness level while progressing in skill and techniques. Taekwondo isn’t for everybody, but it might be right for you.

Yongin Lee’s Martial Arts school is awesome. They have worked with us on every step of this experience with kindness and understanding. Master and Mrs. Lee and Master Kim make this dojang feel like a second home and that we are one big family. My husband and I started this journey almost three years ago. At first, we were a little nervous, thinking Taekwondo would include a lot of physical exercise and hard workouts, but were happy to find many of the techniques can be accomplished no matter your body type or fitness level. I have been attending the Yongin Lee's Martial Arts adult program for 6 years. The masters and staff are incredibly supportive and encouraging, and they are able to teach students of all ages and abilities. They have created an accepting and comfortable atmosphere. Taekwondo improves both physical fitness and mental health (concentration, focus, and confidence). Every student is always learning something new, so no one is ever bored. Taekwondo provides a great workout because you work all areas of the body while focusing on your goals. I have truly enjoyed coming to Yongin Lee's and challenging myself to achieve my goals.
Months ago, I joined the adult group here at Yongin Lee's Martial Arts. I am a U.S. Army Combat Veteran and have trained on different martial arts growing up. This place is amazing and has done wonders for me in my everyday life. I have not felt this great in a long time mentally and physically. The Masters and Staff are amazing, they are very knowledgeable in the art of Taekwondo. Just my time being in this class I have gained what I have lost over the years most importantly flexibility and mental focus. The Masters don't just instruct they also get involved on personally helping you improve on weaknesses they see while you are performing. They make sure that you are performing the correct way and style. Every class is motivating and after every class I feel great with an extra amount of energy.
